The latest edition of Sports Illustrated has an excellent article on the sophisticated ACL rehab of Oregon Duck's quarterback Dennis Dixon's knee. For those of you who want to read the hard copy, it is on pp.44-50.

They also just had Dennis Dixon on the Mike Tirico (sp?) show and he interviewed quite well. Also stated his true passion is football and thus while drafted in the 5th round for baseball, he plans to pursue his football career first as he loves the game.

Would be nice to grab him with a later draft pick and let him finish rehab and learn the ropes for a year or two. Might be a long term steal.
