Missing out on all the really good Corners; Getting a TE who IMO isn't as good as Fred Davis, and whose best case scenario is NFL mediocrity; Gettting in the 2nd round a OT that I honestly haven't of, but a position I've heard isn't deep this year; Getting a LB--which we don't need--who lacks speed and coverage ability and is probably getting by on his brother's reputation.

I'm confident Thompson will do better.
    I semi agree
i think Cason would be a fine corner, and besides who else would you rather have? IMO corner needs to be adressed in the first 2 rounds. I agree that the TE isnt a good pick, rather get someone like keller, bennett, or davis would seem better. And i dont think we need to draft a LB this high, With the signing of chillar id give it untill next year to decide if hes doing a good enough job.
I would really rather see Chilo rachal than cousins be the pick, because rachal is a natural guard.
I've been saying for over a month watch for Rachal as our pick.
yea but i remember that you had him in the 1st round in your first mock, i dont think that happens, he mostlikely will go mid 2nd, but if hes there with our 2nd round picks it would make sense

Don't worry. It won't. Statistically, these mocks are good for around - max - the first fifteen picks or so. Then it's katy-bar-the-door. Espcecially when Ted is in there, drafting linebackers from Northeastern New Mexico Tech in the second round.

Agree that mock drafts aren't good for much past teh top 10-15 picks.
This mock draft is off IMO.
For some reason I'm skeptical of OAK taking McFadden and Chris Long sliding to 6.
From what I've heard, I do think Cason would be a good pick for GB, but the other picks were head scratchers. I've stopped trying to guess what TT will do, although I have opinions of what he should do.

check this mock out and see if anyone can spot something odd

draft ace has him rated as the 33rd best CB in the draft, and a 25 out of 100 rating

yet this mock has us taking him in the first

of course i could see TT doing this

            Height: 6-03/4 | Weight: 198 | 40-Time: 4.39

            Official Bio

            Strengths: (Not bad)

Very good size and bulk with long arms...A terrific natural athlete...Excellent timed speed with a burst to close...Has quick feet...Able to flip his hips and run with just about anyone...Is very self-assured with a short memory...Offers some versatility.

Weaknesses: (Not much here to recommend this fella as a first rounder.)

Not as physical as he should be...Too aggressive at times and can be fooled...He lacks great awareness...Average hands and ball skills...Does not get a very good jam at the line...Too confident and undisciplined...Doesn't play to his measurables.

            Notes:

Began his college career at Toledo ('04) where he saw action in 13 games at both corner and safety as a freshman...

Transferred down a level in '05 looking for more playing time...Also ran track at EKU...

A bit of a Workout Warrior who does not play as well as he tests..

An intriguing small school sleeper with ideal triangle numbers.

Scouts have us picking this fella with our first pick (today) in the second round. NFL Draft Countdown has him going to the Bears at pick #90.

Wide Receiver | Junior | Vanderbilt Earl Bennett

                Height: 5-111/2 | Weight: 209 | 40-Time: 4.48

                Official Bio

                Strengths:

Has good size and a solid frame...Excellent hands..Terrific route runner and knows how to get open...Tough and fearless...Very smooth...Nice vision and can do some damage after the catch...

Gives pretty good effort as a blocker...

                Very smart...Might be able to contribute as a return man...Hard worker...Top intangibles...Productive.

                Weaknesses:

Just average athleticism...Not a blazer and could have trouble separating from pro corners...

Is not very quick or explosive and lacks a burst..

Not much of a vertical or big play threat...

He is not overly elusive..Upside at the next level might be limited.

                Notes:

Really burst onto the scene as a true freshman in '05 and quickly emerged as Jay Cutler's favorite target..A three-year starter in the SEC...

Has experience returning kicks and punts..

Not the most physically gifted wideout in the world but makes up for it by doing all of the little things..

Profiles as a prototypical possession receiver.

                  Official Bio

                  Strengths:

Adequate size and bulk...Decent athleticism and good timed speed...Is active with nice range...Excellent instincts and awareness...Has a great motor and plays with a lot of energy...Does a nice job in space...Can hold his own in coverage...Capable of delivering the big hit...Hard worker..Smart and mature with premier intangibles.

                  Weaknesses:

Doesn't really play up to his workout numbers...Has trouble shedding blocks...Just an average tackler...Can be too aggressive at times..He doesn't play with a nasty demeanor...Marginal pass rusher...A little overaged...May not have a lot of upside.

                  Notes:

Older brothers, Ed and Brandon, also played for Brigham Young...
Served a Church mission in Toronto, Canada...

A pretty good all-around player whose physical tools are passable and gets pushed over the top by doing all the little things...

Probably not starting material but can make a roster & contribute..

                  Backup / Special Teamer.
