Nick Barnett and Greg Jennings should have went last year IMO. And Mason Crosby stands a fair chance at being a PB'er at some point in the future. No PB selections, but certainly not devoid of PB talent.
Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

Denver is the worst, only 5 starters, no Pro Bowlers, only 11 still on the roster.

San Diego, perhaps the best, with 6 Pro Bowlers, 14 starters. Only Arizona has more starters with 15. Dallas had 5 Pro Bowlers, New England and Chicago 4 each.

              Nice research Motife.

Do you have the time to follow this up with FA signings for the same period of time?

                Hi Woodbuck,

This is not my research. It's from Pro Football Weekly.

Maybe someone else knows where to get Free Agent signings. I think the only one that's panned out has been Charles Woodson by Ted Thompson. I'm not sure when Mike Sherman signed Joe Johnson, which is probably the only other "big" signing in the recent past.

I would add in Ryan Pickett

YES! Sorry, very good signing. Likewise, Grady Jackson was a tremendous pickup for the years he was with the Pack. When he was in the lineup, he was a FORCE.

2004 was an awesome draft year...no wonder why I got insanely drunk that night.

I thought this thread was about UNDRAFTED Free Agents. Charles Woodson and Ryan Pickett went undrafted?

                          2004

                          1. CB Ahmad Carroll (1-25)

Ahmad hung around too many " Male Stripper Clubs" he was too grab a$$.

                          2. CB Joey Thomas (3-70)

Joey Thomas didn't appreciate Ahmas Carroll extra-curricular activities. He's a better boxer than Ahmad too.

                          3. DT Donnell Washington (3-72)

The man with talent and upside that never arrived.

                          4. P B.J. Sander (3-87)

Good Lord! Enter the Canadian but he's under the microscope.

                          5. DT Corey Williams (6-179)

I think we liked this DT and let's see what TT turns that second rounder into.

                          6. C Scott Wells (7-251)

                          Our starting Center.

Oh well, " the best layed plans of mice and men ".

Barnett and Crosby should've been Pro Bowlers last year. Jennings and Hawk are awful close.

The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest more than anything else.

Unfortunately, the majority of pro bowl recognition tends to come from teams that are winning and until this last season, we really haven't been that good for a few years. Throw in the fact that Sherman only averaged a little over 6 players drafted per year during his time as GM, that zero isn't to surprising.

If we can get over the Favre hangover and keep putting up wins, I think that number will start to go up as we get recognized as a team and not as Favre's team.
