The NFL has reportedly reinstated suspended LB Odell Thurman.

Thurman was originally suspended for the '06 season after violating the league's substance abuse policy. He violated his probation last year and had a year tacked on. Thurman was one of the NFL's most promising young linebackers as a rookie in 2005. If he hasn't lost his edge, he could compete to start in the middle with Ahmad Brooks or at WLB with Dhani Jones.
