I think part of the problem is that the man just can't cover to save his life. In St. Louis they just asked him to be a run supporting hitting safety who gets interceptions and didn't really ask for him to cover at all. Then teams who need their safeties to cover WRs and TEs sign him, hoping he can cover somebody, and he ends up being a backup or a special teamer.

I could never figure out why the Skins or Das Bars signed his ass.

Both of 'em play a cover safety a lot of the time & that ain't something Adam does at all. When everybody was yelling for us to sign him, ya knew that wasn't gonna happen. We play twin safeties and other teams would feast on him when he was in cover.

Course, sometimes they do that now, but that's what we are trying to fix.

AA is no fix.

I really don't know who will sign him. The concept of a buck safety that rides the TE is pretty dead in the league anymore. Oakland? I don't think even they would use him for depth.

And that was one MONSTER contract the 'skins gave him. $10 mil signing bonus - don't know what his first year salary was, but they paid him at least $11 large for a year. I wonder if they're still hurting from that?
