I'm going to say Jermichael Finley because he's coming into one of the weaker Packer positions and I think he'll be a nice complement to Donald Lee.

What Packer Rookie Are You Looking Forward To Seeing Play?

I suppose "all of the above" wouldn't work in a poll like this.
I went with Jermichael Finley because I see him as having the biggest swing in potential--from horrible bust to all out superstar.
I honestly don't see TE as a "need position"--at least first string. However, having two good receiving TEs along with a great runner and a bunch of outstanding wideouts opens up more possibilities than ever before. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

None of our TE's can block. That makes me curious as to how we will run the WC without a fully fledged blocking TE. That's a staple, IIRC.

I'll say Nelson, but Sitton is 2nd. I see a lot of potential (and college production) in Sitton.
All of these guys are high potential picks but most of them seem to need at least a year. Nelson is probably the only one ready to really contribute and he's behind two probowl caliber WR's and another one that seems poised to break out. I just don't see him getting enough opportunities to have the type of years that Jones or Jennings had, but draft picks aren't picked to be one year players. He has a long career to kick ass in Green Bay.
Brohm is a clipboard holder for a year (minimum).
Patrick Lee seems to need at least a year. I don't even think he'll be the nickle back, but he could be a gunner on punt coverage.
Finley has 1st round talent with a 5th round noggan.
TT obviously felt good about Jeremy Thompson.
I love the Sitton pick and Giacomini has already stood out at OTA's and Mini camps
Flynn and Swain are the typical late round flyers but both seem to have potential. We'll see.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Yer right, Tar, but a good blocking TE is becoming a thing of the past. Gonzalez, Gates and the current crop of star TE's are average blockers at best. The guys that can block tip a running play, so it's not worth putting 'em in.Originally posted by Tarlam!Originally posted by texaspackerbackerI honestly don't see TE as a "need position"--at least first string.

Nowadays, poor blocking TE's still get drafted #1.
I doubt Finley is a great blocker, either.
Lee ain't great, but he gets in the way when he should.

I answered Nelson, only cause I think he is more likely to succeed. Finley has more potential though, and should have a few opportunities to make some big plays.

Lee probably has the best chance at seeing a lot of playing time. However, Nelson should be fun to watch. I'm guessing he'll be a fan favorite. I'm intrigued by Sitton (our Guards need to get meaner). I doubt we'll see much of him this year though.I can't run no more
