  • Ryan Grant - the anti-Javon

Ryan Grant attended minicamp Tuesday, but sat out a mandatory practice while working on a long-term contract with the Packers.

Grant worked out on his own while teammates practiced. "I want to let it be known that I'm a part of this team and I want to be one of the leaders," Grant said. "I want to do everything possible. The business aspect doesn't allow me to practice, but everything I can do, I'm definitely doing."

I believe they will have a contract before training camp starts... I'm glad Grant is staying low key on his contract and not on a new ESPN show everyday like other former/current players...

I half expected this to be about Ryan Grant getting mugged and kicking the robbers ass and taking his money.

        Ryan Grant holds out.

Walker only threatened to hold out and caved in.

Grant has 40 days and 40 nights to sign the best deal his agent can arrange.

I wouldn't call it a hold-out, per se. It's more of a "I'm going to let you sort things out and I'll do my own thing."

Technically, Grant isn't holding out either. He doesn't have a contract.

Technically JWalk wasn't holding out either, he was being a cancer and exercising his right to miss practice and pay a fine.
