Brister didn't disappoint.
But with Brett Farve riding off into the sunset after, um, forcing a ball into coverage to lose the NFC title game in overtime, the job now falls to the man who was drafted three years ago to be Favre's successor.
Rodgers will say all the right things. In his heart, however, he surely recognizes that his grace period will last for a drive or two, and that Packers fans will grow unruly quickly if Rodgers doesn't deliver.
