I agrre with the above points. I would distinguish the two by pointing to Fergy's freak injuries. The close line. The catch against Minn. where his knee buckled. These are high effort plays that resulted in freak injuries. Gardner's problems aren't from freak injuries. However, Gardner never played with Favre either. I'm fine with Gardner on the team, and think Favre can bring him out. Can Rodgers in the following years? I'm afraid Gardner will revert.
