I thought so!Originally posted by JoemailmanJolly was in possession of codeine, not cocaine.Originally posted by SMACKTALKIE200 grams and a slap on the wrist???!!! Dude that is SO MUCH coke. Thats like 60 to 70 eight balls!!!Originally posted by gbpackfanI don't think much comes of this. The charges will get reduced, he'll plead out and will get probation or some other slap on the wrist. At most, he'll miss a couple of games. Yeah, it sucks. But he's not going to get suspended for half or the entire season.
The more troubling thing is that he still needs pain killers. Or he is highly addicted. That injury must have been a biatch.

I wonder what the pills actually were? Can you get straight codeine? I'm more familiar with codeine as part of tylenol 1/2/3 or 222's.
Favre's situation aside, we've still had a relatively quiet offseason wrt the rest of the team. One reasonably small event like this barely makes the radar, and considering it's a first offense for what I think is considered a soft drug, things will probably be ok. I would guess he's going to get tossed into a treatment program or something, and be ok.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

I won't take 'em because all I do is sleep and wake up just in time for the next dose. I have a full bottle of them in the cabinet. I suppose they'd be good as sleeping pills if I ever needed them....Originally posted by MadtownPackerAh shit, we got some pill poppers in Aisle 4.^^^^^^^
And the codeine comes in the cough medicine that I only take when I need a nap..."Greatness is not an act... but a habit.Greatness is not an act... but a habit." -Greg Jennings

i'd like to see those court papers please. 3 z and you got a misdeamor...c'mon.Originally posted by missionsmack -- lay off your own blow and realize this ISNT cocaine... it's codeine...
and he got arrested in the city that made the purple drank popular? are you kidding?
step your masters up to a PHd bruh, he's slangin for that drank... or planning a big party.
200 grams is not something that you just get arrested with.. it's not like that is even close to a personal amount. you're transporting. picture a freezer bag chocked full of pills ...
either way,
if i can get arrested with 84 grams of blow, go to jail for a day and get it reduced to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct, im sure he'll be able to spin this in a way where he wont get more than a couple games suspension.

if i cared enough to take the effort and find a scanner than sure ... as is, i apparently just care enough to tell a long story again.
here's the story -- should make it believable...
i had just moved into the Twelve at atlanta station. 16th floor ... the building where a lot of pro athletes, rappers, etc stay... life was good.
but i was still waiting on my "official date" to use the freight elevator... so i just had a single keyboard up there and my "work" so to speak ... figured that's a safe place... i wasnt in a rush to move out of my other place (the place i NOW have to live at lol)
well apparently a real estate agent who wasnt supposed to be showing the place, decided to stop in while she was showing another unit. she saw the keyboard (music/headphones/patio/beautiful!), nothing else and some "work" on the counter... scale, tray, etc ... didnt know, apparently, that i had moved in.
she was with a client and probably embarrassed so called the cops on the spot thinking someone had broken in and was selling drugs out of there.
i had a date with Masika (really, women adore me) so i ran down to publix to get some deodorant. i had forgot that in the "toiletry" man bag... anyway, instead of just walking over to the restaurant as planned, i decided to take the deodorant back up stairs.
i did ...
walked in to a room of 2 APD and 3 GBIs... (they said they were just about to leave, and leave everything there)
arrested instantly. very polite, didnt say anything, didnt admit to anything. they took $8,200 of (mainly) legal/beats money since i couldnt prove where it came from.
masika wasn't happy about being stood up ... i wasn't happy about anything.
if you think even an AVERAGE lawyer couldnt crush the search involved with this before even going TO trial then you have no idea... the judge didnt wanna touch the case.
less than an O of weed = dropped / dead doc'd
possession of cocaine w/intent = misdemeanor disorderly conduct
plus, i went out with the asst. DA a couple times ...
masika loves me again ...

100% on all of those, Tyrone. You're a smart, and an experienced man. Or maybe you've just taken notes during a lot of good movies. I had stopped serving users a year before that and was looking at making a feel trips down south to the EM-EYE to "make arrangements" ... I knew forklifts was the goal.Originally posted by Tyrone BiggunsLawyer: agreed.
story: Careless my son. hopefully you've tightened up since then.
Masika: Nice.
P.S. there are only 2 types of dealers..those who need forklifts and those that don't.
Careless is the word. Arrogant is another... I'm sure there are a few others. I had just placed my first track with Jeezy, going out with a video model, living in THE place in Atlanta ... nothing could stop me, and frankly, laws didn't really apply. I was driving my Audi for two years illegally ... cops waving at me on the block.
Now I'm on foot, 100% music, not drinking liquor or selling dope... quit cigs, puffing on blunts and black and milds from time to time.
My music productivity with not having to worry about d-boy issues (collecting, not getting robbed, etc) is huge now and life is fun again. Not stressful. Even teachin "beat production" classes at a couple westside boys and girls clubs (im not all saint, they payin me 50 an hour.. fun gig)
Oh, I left out the part of my 1-year suspended sentence...
These wrists WONT be touching any metal (for at least 10 more months)!
Major turning point in my life. But so fucking necessary ... I'm glad.

Suspended sentence: I figured, even without a warrant/etc. that you had a little bit of something else.Originally posted by mission100% on all of those, Tyrone. Attitude: Careless/arrogant/etc...all tie in together. Doesn't matter..all bad to have. Feeling "insulated" from reality. Paranoia is the best state of mind when in that field. Especially if one is making a "career" in that biz.
The life: The money is always good...but, it is a LIFE...24/7. Freedom in one respect..but, then again..how free are you when you are always workin...you know what i mean.
Lesson: Good to hear. I'm sure, thinkin back...you realize how much worse it coulda been.
Experience: PM if interested.

The team is falling apart without Favre already
Maybe if A-Rod would have spent more time working out with the team earning some respect (Favre already has it, A-Rod has to earn it) instead of frolicking in the mountains with his family and spending his days in Cali, this crap wouldn't have happened!!
