  • Vikings get a jump on learning process

"It is June, right? You wouldn't know it by looking at a full field of 87 Vikings players working out at Winter Park."

"This is a copycat league, and if one team has players putting in 22 hours a day, you want to make sure your team is putting in 23," Vikings free safety Darren Sharper said. "That's just the way it is in the league now."

The Vikings are in step with that approach. The entire 87-man roster was at Winter Park for Wednesday's OTA, which was open to the media.

"With all the new things we got going on, guys know it's important to be here," defensive tackle Kevin Williams said. "You'll miss the bus if you're at home doing your own thing."

No matter what the Vikes do - history has shown that they have always found a way to choke.

I never thought I'd see the day where I wished our players were acting more like the Vikings' organization

Actually, I have an inside source that tells me that the Red Cross was in town giving classes on how to perform the Heimlich Maneuver for when they choke.

lol, that would explain why some of the media was there, but shouldn't they have invited their fans?

Yea, those years of sell outs are all actually cardboard cutouts and then me....LOL....actually I wasn't going to mention this because I didn't want to antagonize you guys!

By the way, Al Harris tried to sneak in when he heard about the strippers but his hair gave him away and he was turned away at the door.
