125/175 career TD/INT ratio. I dont give a shit who your teammates are, thats just an inaccurate statement you made there HH. Guy had 3 good seasons. Completed 55% of his passes and avg 6.6/att. I think even Peyton would be pissed about that one and thats his dad.Originally posted by Harlan Hucklebyarchie manning might have been as good as peyton. it was an era before parity, and he played on the 'aints.Originally posted by 3irty1This is museum quality stupidity.

Well, he could be talking about Cooper.Originally posted by ZoolSo you think either Archie Manning or Eli Manning are one of the greatest QB's ever? Really?Originally posted by PartialYou're comparing a family of two of the greatest quarterbacks and one of much higher acclaim and a much better prospect coming out to an A-Rod? Really?Originally posted by JustinHarrellEli Manning won the SB last year. I see no reason Rodgers can't win one.

I honestly don't think that any second round pick is going to make or break a run to the Super Bowl.Originally posted by Tyrone BiggunsFirst, this thread isn't about moss, so don't threadjack.
Bretsky,
YOu honestly think we woulda drafted a QB in the second round?
What about Nelson? Maybe tt takes players that don't need as much development time like Lee
YOu think that Taylor might have been traded for if we had brett?
More cap space because brett retired certainly affects decision making.
Maybe we dont' trade Corey. The team with brett isn't the same team as one with arod.

MEMPHIS, TN — Cooper Manning, the out-of-the-spotlight older brother of Peyton and Eli Manning, made a rare public statement Friday.
“I’d have four Super Bowl rings by now,” Cooper Manning said. “Maybe five. I mean, how hard can it be to win the Super Bowl?”
on a more sad note:
Cooper was heavily recruited by Division I schools Texas, Virginia and Ole Miss. He enrolled at Ole Miss, but as a freshman in 1992 he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, thus ending his NFL aspirations.

Tyrone, for a smart man, you've got a short-sighted theory.
I think TT would likely have gone for a QB, as I think he didn't expect Brett to come back in 08, and likely not in 09. He drafted Rogers while Favre was active, and it fanned the flames, but I think he was thinking about 2-4 years down the road.
Brohm is not Favre's replacement. Brohm is Rogers' replacement, and Brohm was drafted because we didn't have much behind Rogers. If there's a possibility the first-stringer could be gone during this off-season, and the incumbent the year after, then now's a good time to get someone invested in the system.
I haven't seen much from Thompson that would indicate he thinks about winning overnight. All of Favre's weapons (minus Koren) came from rookies or the draft.
Honestly, I don't think TT wanted to encourage Favre to come back, and had Brett not retired, things wouldn't look a damn bit different.I believe in God, family, Baylor University, and the Green Bay Packers.

I am a smart man..smart enough to know that TT wouldn't have used a 2nd on a QB if Arod was going to be the backup. Maybe a QB in a later round, but certainly not a 2nd.Originally posted by NewsBruinTyrone, for a smart man, you've got a short-sighted theory.

Weapons: you mean like DD, Ahman or Grant, or Donald Lee or Bubba?
