  • What do you think about Lamar Gordon?

    I was checking out the avaliable Free agents still left. I checked out Lamar Gordon. People who don't know who he is, he is 26 RB last played for Miami Dolphins. Born and currently living in Milwaukee WI.

      No way........we don't need Lamar:

      I mildly disagree. We need more backs to run a good training camp. We could use 1 or 2 experienced pros and a kid or so just to be bodies once we put the pads on. Gado will need to take a blow here and there. We are running a modified WCO and a zone scheme, that's a ton of wear and tear on our guys. Two of 'em are still disabled and may not be available at the start of camp.

          I have never been a fan of Gordon and thought that the Rams Reached on him in the draft. He is an up right runner that can't get through traffic.

            Born: 01/07/1980 College: North Dakota State NFL Experience: 5

            Played '02 and '03 with the Rams (started 9 games) and started 2 games with the Dolphins in '04 and 4 games with the Eagles in '05 for a total of 15 starts in four season's.

            Rushing in those four season's:

            In all Lamar Gordon was dressed for 40 games and started 15. He carried 225 times for 772 yards ( AVG. = 3.4) with a long run of 29 yards and three rush's over 20 yards. He scored three (3) TD's.


            RECEIVING:

            In those 40 games he caught 62 pass's for 490 yards (longest 25 yards) and 4 catch's 20+ for 2 TD's.


            KICK RETURNS:

            He returned 9 KO's for 168 yards ( 18.7 AVG.) and a long of 30 Yards.


            Note : He fumbled 9 times and only made three tackles in the NFL.

              Just a name guy would rather keep the folks we have running right now.
