Later, Timberlake went into the seats to hug Favre's would-be successor Aaron Rodgers, the Packers' 2005 first-round draft choice. Favre sheepishly looked down with a slight smile on his face as the crowd laughed.

This is ESPN were talking about. and Favre was there. Do you really need an explanation of what ESPN was trying to do?

Edit: ESPN is running A-Rod's comments ad nauseum and are spinning its A-Rod still feels he is the backup. What a crock!
