I think its kind of funny, how so many people are now calling Favre a liar, and a diva. These are the same people that say stupid shit like "it's the GB Packers, not the GB Favre's". Saying that if you take Favre's side of things, you are not a true Packer fan,........ "because Favre is hurting the team". What a crock of shit.

Does anyone here honestly believe for one second that Favre ever thought that the Packers would simply release him? No, neither did I, and that is where the speculation starts.

Here is some more speculation, perhaps Favre is just taking a little time out of his retired schedule to let Thompson know how he felt about the rebuilding process that he had to play through. Perhaps he does not even want to come back, and all of this is his way of thumbing his nose at Thompson...........paybacks are a bitch!

For the record, there simply is not very much left of the team that I used to root for. Thompson saw to that while he was "not rebuilding". It's so funny, that while Thompson was "not rebuilding", he fired Mike Sherman, who led the Packers to five consecutive winning seasons from 2000–04 and three divisional titles in 2002, 2003, and 2004. He also sent Ahman Green packing, Ryan Longwell, Flanigan, Darren Sharper, Wahle, and Rivera..................... All of whom were what? Obvious underacheivers?

Forgive me if I agree with Favre, but I think that Thompson is in fact a lying piece of shit, who could not wait for Favre's name to be taken off the roster. But just because I would still root for Favre and will probably always dislike Thompson, does not mean for one second that I am less of a Packer fan than anyone else. The only person or thing being hurt by all of this mess, is Thompson and his legacy.......... not Favre or his.

My favorite play of the season was when Favre threw to Favre on a 15 yard slant and he took it to the house. Favre got an excellent block on a blitzing LB and Favre and Favre sealed the left side so Favre could step up and make a (a typical) good throw.

You also accuse posters of attacks, while you yourself attack other posters. It doesnt matter if you only attack your select few, you do take personal shots.
