I miss the struggle between Woodbuck and Scott Cambell, they had that going on all but 4 or 5 threads. It was great!

No, it wasn't great. It was ugly, caused serious bad feelings, and it is NOT going to continue here even if I have to be as asshole about it.

Today, Scott and Woody exchanged indirect insults. Then the Woodman opened-fired with trash talk. Woody, you've complained about Scott menacing you, but you get the unnecessary roughness flag today. Scott controlled himself and didn't respond to you. I'm serious, you two must avoid each other, the bad vibes aren't coming here.

And as long as I'm on my soapbox, Nutz, why you have to make that post about "crushing JSO"? If you feel that way, fine, but don't use the "we". And ask yourself, what comes from this sort of challenging? I assure it is not in our interests. The heat and anger seems to have died down over there. I like being able to post and not feel like an outsider at JSO. My beef is with the JSO management, not the people there.

I enjoy all the posters and if there's one I didn't enjoy I can choose to ignore them. I can say when I first joined Bulldog got me irate a couple times and I thought he was an idiot and now I consider him one of the more knowledgeable guys in here and even right sometimes when not dicussing Favre or Mario Williams

Some in here enjoy both sites and should not have to read criticizing JS or their posters.

The other option besides ignoring someone as Harlan so subtly pointed out, is banning. This is no slam on JSO, but they left it up to us to take out our own trash. That worked for a long time, but it led to a lot of fights. The hacker proved it wasn't a viable way of managing the community long term.

One of the reasons I like it better here is I don't feel any responsibility to be an asshole to posters exhibiting antisocial behavior. We've got mods for that here.

We're not taking about Mazzin. I wrote a blogg at jso detailing how i met this hot girl last week and she turned out to be a lesbian and, her girlfriend is one ugly looking bitch. True story. I think thats what we are talking about.
