I second that sentiment. BTW, when did you write that? One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Does it hurt your back when you kiss your own ass?Originally posted by The ShadowOriginally posted by The ShadowThe Jets seem like a good trading partner for Favre. They could use a fan draw and PR coup to compete with the Super Bowl champion Giants, they need a qb, they are an AFC team, and New York should be big enough for Favre's ego (if that's even possible).
I know a lot of posters don't like him, but I'd love to see the Pack get Chad Pennington as part of the deal. Yes, he has less than a cannon arm, and yes, he's had injuries, but he's highly football-smart, and would be a fine #2 while Brohm acquires that 1st year apprenticeship experience. Hopefully, Flynn could sneak on to the practice squad, although it's likely another team would snap him up.
