Jus think about it. Before Favre we sucked for alomst 3 decades. After Favre 15 winning seasons, national attention, free agents wanting to come here.

He basically rebuilt this franchise. He may be a total ass, I have known that for awhile from stories told around when he was younger. But I don't get caught up in making someone a hero.

But if anyone has ever deserved his job back it is Bret. WHat he did for this team. It is a slap in the face to him and people who have supported this team. To say "you cannot compete" What a joke. This being siad by people who have only been a Packer for a few years.

Look at the Giants. Strahan came back weeks before the season started. They took him back. But the Packers wont take Brett back, come on

Personally, instead of feeling slapped in the face, I'm extremely pleased that it is the Packer organization - my team - that is finally not caving in to yet another self-entitled, spoiled pro athlete.
