I still want Brett to come in and win his job back.

ps. dont be polluting young-uns mind with your craziness Justin Harrel, we are adults here and know how to take you, 14 yr olds don't.

You better stop following pro football then...your team will ALWAYS have a least a few of these kind of guys. That's the nature of professional athletes these days.

The bottom line in the NFL is winning, not assembling the roster with the best attitude.

Dallas will be full of jackasses this year...but they likely will go further than Green Bay this year with Aaron Rodgers.

Bingo. The article is misleading if they interviewed the fans most would say they want Brett back but understand that is not going to happen so what is the point of picketing. TT has made up his mind and we will all have to live with the outcome.

This is bull since the beginning I have heard many diss Brett only in recent days have more anti-TT articles and commentary popped up mainly because of his waffling on the issue and the outright lie leaked about the cell phone.

EDIT: only one guy has had the guts to call out ESPN on it's ass kissing of Favre. Amazingly that guys name is Stephen A. Smith.

People really do not know the facts. Mortenson gets the scoop and relays the message in a way that Bus Cook wants so as to keep his connection. They are playing up this "Free Favre" thing adn people are buying it. I think TT needs to come right out in a very clear one line statement and say the Packers are working on a trade so the papers can print it clear and unmistakably.

Stop hanging around little kids and your theory is flawed the cell phone was a lie put out by the Packers TT finally came clean yesterday there is no proof Brett even wants to go to the Vikings nor is there proof they want him. Everyone assumes why would'nt they over TJ but he has a vast amount more experience than our starting QB. Favre also called M1,Andy Reid,Matt Millen and as he put it 10 other teams representatives maybe you should tell the kid Brett Favre thinks he is so fucking good he can play for ten teams at the same time. That would be just as Factual.

This is pretty much the bottom line for me. I honestly thought BF was different all these years, a salt of the earth , "aw shucks" tough guy who just liked playing football. His image seemed to fit the Wisconsin blue collar, "I'll have another beer" mentality. It is tough to finally learn it was all bullshit.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass Brett.

"We were expecting people to be yelling, 'We want Favre!' " Charlie Wyatt said. "I would say 90 percent of the people here would love to see Brett in uniform again, but it's a business when it comes down to it. I think it's over and he's going to be moving on. Let's just get it done with."

I agree with that statement as I attended the morning practice yesterday. Most people would prefer to have Favre as our starting QB, but are pretty much sick of the drama and are ready to move on.

Personally, I heard the "Bring Favre back" chant from a few people mostly young kids. But like I said, the general census seems to agree with the above statement.

One thing noticeably different about camp this year was the attendance. Normally, there are people 3-4 deep all along the fence. This year, I walked right up and got a good spot to watch. On the very first day of practice, too....I couldn't believe that. You can bash Favre all you want, but you can't deny he brings people here....and in the past tons of people come to TC solely to see him.

It wasn't a lie, but your post is. The Packers never said he had a cell phone issued by the Packers. That was speculation by some sports writer who said the Packers had all the cell phone records of calls between Brett and the vikes. The writer found out that only the issuer of the cell phone has access to that so he reported Brett may be using a cell phone issued by the Packers. The next day this was reported as fact.

TT did not lie. At least not in this instance.

That's because you are full of it.

If the Packers are unwilling to allow a veteran player, 3 time mvp, etc a chance to start or even be on their team, than he should be allowed to go where he wants. He's not a malcontent, cancer, or problem that they're disciplining. They've simple chosen not to want him. Essentially, they're holding him hostage and it is horrendous treatment of a great player.

This situation has made me lose a lot of respect for Packer brass. Do a trade for a 7th and let him choose wherever he wants to go except the Vikings.

From TTs press conference yesterday. When asked, does the organization even want Brett back?. He answered: "There are a lot of different scenarios and Brett and I talked about that. That's one scenario, where he comes back."
