The very interesting thing will be how Favre handles this.
Will he orchestrate a media circus, or will he attempt to defuse it?
Will he sulk, or will he accept the situation day by day?
Will he put the team 1st, as he was so vocal about with others?

Naah, they have until friday. Favre'll show up tomorrow and spend the day with the conditioning coach. Thursday they don't have practice, so Brett's first day will be on Friday.Originally posted by BallHawkWell, if there's going to be a trade I'd expect within the next 24 hours.
All ESPN live will get is a shot of Brett entering the clubhouse. Big whoop.
Edit:PFT has it too: http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/...tement-letter/

My guess, unfortunately, is that he will sulk. If the rumors are true, that he won't put together a list of teams he will play for and is only angling for his release so he can go to the Vikings, then he will want to (further) stir up as much shit as possible.Originally posted by PatlerThe very interesting thing will be how Favre handles this.

A little birdy told me that if he is put at the 2nd string QB and is told to go in that he will tell them he is trying to learn the plays and refuse... but that sounded like just talk when I heard it and my guess is that he'll go in there and play like he always has..

I dont think Favre threw them for a loop all of a sudden, so to speak.
If thats the case then why did TT ask Brett for more time... again as Mortenson reported?
I think TT is fucked and he knows it... no team in their right mind would give up a ton for a guy they know has a possibility of being release and the possibility of he not willing to play for them... TT is now in the bad place and we'll all see how he deals with it.. most likely he will deal with it in a weasly way like hes doing with Ryan Grant

I read (but can't verify right now) that the Packers have 48 hours to make their roster adjustment by adding Favre and releasing someone. Assuming the Commissioner reinstates him today, that gives them to Thursday, at the earliest.
They will bring him in Friday or Saturday for his conditioning tests. Assuming he passes on Friday, they will hold him out of practice on Saturday.
Family night scrimmage is Sunday - Favre won't even dress for it.
Monday is an off day.
Tuesday is the earliest Favre will practice

What exactly does that mean? By weasly do you mean businesslike?Originally posted by Pacopete4Originally posted by Chevelle2Im guessing TT and MM expected this (reinstatement), and have a plan in place they intend to put into action soon.

I could care less what TT and MM do now. For all I care, they can tell Favre to take laps for the entire practice or have him sit on the sidelines and pick dandelions.Go PACK
