  • Jerry Kramer's take

He also thinks there's something 'else' going on........

That "something else" is Brett Favre lieing to the team and attempting to manipulate his way to the Minnesota Vikings since late March.

      I saw that interview too.

That "something else" also could be BF voicing his displeasure for Mooch not getting his interview. That probably put the proverbial nail in the coffin between him and M3.

Funny..........Jerry seemed to imply the 'funny stuff' was on the Packers side, not Favre's.

I didn't watch the whole thing......did Kramer reference Jim Ringo asking Lombardi to talk to his agent and Lombardi telling Ringo he'd just been traded to the Eagles?

No, he's baffled that the Packers want Rodgers over Favre because Rodgers hasn't started a game yet. You have to have your first start sometime, right?

That's why he can't seem to put his finger on it. He's looking in the wrong place.

eh I dunno.. what he says makes a lot of sense and for a guy thats actually been around an organization, i'll listen to him.. i havent been able to pick a side other than I wanna see Brett play again mainly because the whole situation is fishy and its hard to tell who is really doing what and to whom

Sure, but guys usually don't get their first start while a guy at their position who almost won the MVP the year before sits on the bench or is released. There's not much, if any precedence for a situation like this.

NFLN is running a show on the top 10 players NOT in the NFL HOF. The #1 player that isn't is the Hall that experts feel should be in is Jerry Kramer.

                    I agree 100%

The top 3 are Jerry, Derrick Thomas, and Chris Carter.

No, I'm trying to point out that in Kramer's opinion, it was probably OK for Lombardi to jettison a player that was acting like a prima donna, but when Ole #4 tries the same crap......it must be TT's fault....oh, never mind.

Steve Young started many games before he became the starter. http://www.pro-football-reference.co...Y/YounSt00.htm
