It's looking less and less likely this scrimmage is actually going to occur. The field is taking on a lot of water, raising the injury risk. Not sure what the contingency plan would be, but a delay to Monday would seem the most likely option.

Also, here's what GM Ted Thompson said when asked by Fox 11 whether it was unexpected that the NFL acted today on Brett Favre's reinstatement request: "Brett had sent his request for reinstatement, and then, because there were some discussions going on, I think everybody felt better to put it on hold for a little bit. But we knew it was an eventuality."
