not necessarily. FAvre has made it clear he only will accept trade to MN. that lowers his trade value to spit.

Favre has dicked the packers pretty effectively. none of this is about "playing football", as he claims. With a better attitude, he would have a dozen trade options. His celebrity status and lemming fans give him real power, and he's using it.

How true that is, Blue Dog. If all Favre really wanted was to play football - even for a contending team - he'd be in Tampa Bay right now.

A good friend of mine, whose brother works for the Press Gazette, I believe, tells me that Favre's new nickname is "Princess."

With a better attitude he could also have filed his reinstatement papers and come to camp on day one. He would have likely been the starter by the beginning of the season.

It should be interesting to see how long he sticks it out. He's got to swallow a lot of pride, if he were to back down now; however, I haven't seen much out of his actions that suggests he is truthfully interested in playing for the Packers this year. I hope I am wrong.

Been a Packer fan thru thick & thin since 1961.
I am for any player, coach, or administrator who has the best interests of the team at heart.
I am against those who harm my team.
            Of course I'd boo.

PS : Once the season officially started, I would cheer on ALL Packers.

So you would be one of those people who boo players at lambeau.

I have never done that, but at the same time, I've never seen a supposedly 'true Packer' behave so boorishly. Favre has revealed what more than a few of us have suspected for a long time : that he is all about Favre.
Booing in this case, I believe, is completely warranted.
