  • Long term growth or game ending pick in postseason

Which one? Seems like most people use emotion and memories to make up their minds. Someone pull up Favre's stats for the playoffs since 2000.
Also, hasn't he show a propensity to drop off in the second half of the season for the last four or five years?

Post season with possibility of Super Bowl in weal NFC, or 8-8 growing pains with a possibilty of being better in a couple of years. After the 2 starting tackles are relpaced due to age. And the 2 starting cornerbacks. And Driver. Barnett will be getting up there too.

    You're right! Tough choice.

Jennings at this point is better than Driver IMO. No worries there.

They are talking about extending Taucher. OLmen play forever, so I'm not all that concerned with that one. They'd probably extend Cliffy too, but that hit from Sapp years back probably took a few years off of his career.

And for all the guys you are complaining about that will need to be replaced, there is a promising 23-25 year old that will be a star even when those guys are gone. That's life in the NFL.

Sounds like a good QB. Can we get him on our roster too?

He's not old enough to start.

Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
