If T.O. came out and said "I told Jerry Jones to at least interview Mooch, he was my coach in San Francisco and he's unemployed. I'd like to have him as my HC. He didn't do that. So then I said 'Hey, Randy Moss is available, if you added him to our team he'd take a lot of coverage of me....my stats would soar, that'd really help them.' He didn't do that. So, I mean, what type of message does that send to me?"

He'd be lambasted by the media, the fans, etc.

But, when Brett Favre says it....well, he's just a brutally down to earth country boy. Aw shucks, look at him, he's so honest. It's not his fault he talked down to his GM, his personality is just geared to being honest and expressing his feelings. You can't blame him for that, though.

I think after this latest soap opera though, he is going to get blasted by the media for pulling stunts like that. I think all the stuff his family went though too bought him some sympathy with the media. How can you not feel something after his dad died then that Oakland game? Then Deanna getting cancer and all that. I really think those events saved him a lot of negative press, but he's sure getting it now and will in the future I think.
