Well, it answered one of mine. Favre isn't going to be a Packer this year, and as I thought, it's because he doesn't want to play here. The only question I have left that has yet to be answered is, well, where is he going?
Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow

McCarthy was respectful, but also brutally tough.

This is a man who does not suffer fools gladly.
more freedom, less government. Go Sarah!

              If it wasn't obvious before

The Packer management do not want anything to do with Brett Favre.

              The door is shut.

Q: How long will Brett Favre be in town?

              A: I don't know.

There are so many better ways to handle this. What a bunch of fools with no creativity.

I may boycott the NFL for awhile.

McCarthy opened the door to having Favre come back in as long as he was fully committed to being a Packer again. Favre said he couldn't do it after everything that's happened.

What more did you want M3 to do? If Favre can't walk through that door, there is no reason in leaving it open.

Ya, tis basically good on both parts...

If Favre hates it here.. he shouldn't have to be

If Favres attitude isn't right, then MM should keep him away from the team

Welcome to the Dark Side, Paco.

Let's hope Rodgers can get this done.

haha.. I wouldn't put me completely there because I still hate the organization right now for this... there HAS TO BE something they did to get him this way... Favre is good people, he wouldn't just feel this way for no reason...

we are not being told the whole story...

                      • Would you want to come in and compete for a position when they truly don't want you. Where they have said over and over they do not want you.

When they even offer you money not to try for that position.

When they send people to your house to tell you to stay away.

And because the issue is forced on them they say you can compete.

Just because there is talk of open competition and they say they welcomed you back. They truly dont want him there. And haven't for awhile.

We've moved on is a bunch of crap

THis whole thing just proves they truly didn't want him back I believe. I knowhte report about March but we don't know all the details, maybe he even felt then they didn't want him.

They have their future QB in place and its clear they want to go with him.

I think it sucks but I have no say in it.

                            "His mindset isn't right."

Is he on the non-football injury list? "Yes"

NO WONDER BRETT DOESN'T TRUST THESE SNAKES!!

                            • That's what got me - I believed everything until he revealed that they put him on the injury list - and this was known prior to the meeting with Favre yesterday.

Thus, Favre knew that they were putting him on the list prior to the meeting...and I am sure he feels fine - another way they could screw him in trying to win back the starting position.
