I agree that it's a concern, because if AC gets in the habit of doing this stuff in practice, will he be smart enough to police himself during games so to avoid the big penalty? History tells us he is not ...

I kind of noticed it at an earlier practice too. He almost got a pick a couple days ago and he put his hands on his head and just screamed. All the attention was on him for like 1 full minute because he just kept screaming. It was kind of embarassing for him. I was like ooohh stop man, you look like an idiot.
I guess it's just who he is. He plays at a high level but my lord, he's more annoying than sponge bob. For me it comes down to how he plays. Non of the media really mention it becuase it's not a huge issue if he's showing up and performing, but it is something to talk about I guess.
Maybe you replace him because he is such a fool. I don't know what the best move is. He's starting to turn on his play. He seems less penalty prone and more in tuned to covering his guy when the play is on. I guess that is the most important thing. Everything else is just personal dislike. Since Thompson took over, there are alot less fools on the team, so maybe one won't make much of a difference.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Good one!Originally posted by RastakOriginally posted by Harlan HucklebyThere's nobody by that name on the packers, probably nobody in the whole world. Quit goofing around.Originally posted by gbpackfan1. ZAC ALCORN - Alcorn really had a special day.
I believe Zac is a camp body they use to practice cut blocks on so no real lineman will get hurt while they learn the technique......

Carroll playing the fool does have a negative impact on the team.
Teammates derive their mental approach from the group dynamic.
No matter how well an individual does their job, and in spite of teammates saying the right thing, "thats just X bein' X", the team dynamic suffers from foolish attitudes. eg. see TO, even when he was contributing to the team performance and statistics, he was sowing the seeds of destruction with his foolishness and antics both on and off the field.
This is where leadership meets challenge. Our coaching staff AND player leaders need to step in and correct this nonsense because it can cripple a team for years. Not just with Carroll, but with anyone displaying negative behaviors. This is true leadership, not only on-field performance matters, true leaders have the confidence and loyalty of their teammates because the teammates know the leader can be counted upon to do the right thing for the group AT ALL TIMES. This includes nipping bad group dynamic behavior in the bud.
The time to act is NOW! Lets see who steps up. I would love to see Hawk or Kampy just begin to be the guy that truly leads this defense. I dont know if there is anyone else capable on the D roster."The spirit, the will and the will to excel - these are the things that endure and these are the qualities that are so much more important than any of the events that occasion them."

That old guy taking snaps will be hoping they execute them properly this year...when a guy misses block in the zone scheme.,....BAM.Originally posted by NickCollinsI can't wait till we're cut blocking Kevin Williams and Erasmus James in live games. They'll just have to play at less than 100% as to avoid injury. It's a good tool to slow down the opponent IMO.

Yup Rastak I can see it now. I hope that Brett Favre is doing his core exercises and that LT Chad Clifton can rebound from an off season last.Originally posted by RastakThat old guy taking snaps will be hoping they execute them properly this year...when a guy misses block in the zone scheme.,....BAM.Originally posted by NickCollinsI can't wait till we're cut blocking Kevin Williams and Erasmus James in live games. There will be alot of head shaking and cringing from Packer fans in 2006 I expect.** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

gbpackfan is getting home page status at PackerChatters.com. For some reason, I feel scorned.
We need to get Mad to put his reports on the home page, so we can keep him happy.

I thought they were editing his stuff and rebuking him? That's what I read here anyway. I would have said adios if they pulled that on me. I can understand not wanting posters to swear but it was a quote.

I asked GBPF about it after his first OTA report and the offer still stands. I believe he mentioned liking the thread format where everyone can reply with comments.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersgbpackfan is getting home page status at PackerChatters.com. For some reason, I feel scorned.
