    Noon news conference at Lambeau, Favre at 5 p.m. in Cleveland

    The Packers will discuss the Brett Favre trade to the New York Jets today at noon at the Lambeau Field media auditorium.

    Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, General Manager Ted Thompson and head coach Mike McCarthy are scheduled to appear.

    UPDATE: The Jets have said that Brett Favre will hold a 5 p.m. (CDT) news conference in Cleveland, where the Jets play their exhibition opener tonight.

          I don't know if I can have myself watch his press conference... Just a couple months ago he said he gave it all he had... I can't see him outside of Green and Gold...

          O well... I'm hoping for a .500 season or better... If not we the (fans) and the organization are in DEEP shit...
