I thought it was going to be a link to a site extolling Brett's penis size.

On an ironic note, if Ron Wolf had his way, Brett Favre would have spent the last 17 years as a New York Jet.

The Atlanta Falcons drafted Favre out of Jerry Glanville's spite, since Glanville knew the Jets were going to draft Favre, tried extortion on them, and when it didn't work drafted Favre even though he didn't want him.

Wolf and the Jets had Favre rated as the Number One best player in the draft but didn't have a 1st round pick.

How many Super Bowls would the Jets have won by now if Jerry Glanville hadn't pulled his stunt.

I don't know if the Jets would have won any Super Bowls if they had drafted Brett in 1991. Here's a list of their head coaches from 1991 thru present:
              Bruce Coslet
              Pete Carroll
              Richie Kotite
              Bill Parcells
              Al Groh
              Herm Edwards
              Eric Mangini
Given that perhaps with Parcells or Edwards they had a shot but I believe it took the discipline of Mike Holmgren to reign in Brett's "wild" side to put Brett on the path to greatness. Remember his overweight and drinking habits early on in his career. So I would say possibly during the Parcells era he would have had a chance.

Here are the Jets records since 1991 :

                  91 : 8-8-0
                  92: 4-12-0
                  93: 8-8-0
                  94: 6-10-0
                  95: 3-13-0
                  96: 1-15-0
                  97: 9-7-0
                  98: 12-4-0
                  99: 8-8-0
                  00: 9-7-0
                  01: 10-6-0
                  02: 9-7-0
                  03: 6-10-0
                  04: 10-6-0
                  05: 4-12-0
                  06: 10-6-0
                  04: 4-12-0

I'm not sure how the Jets would have done with Favre, but the Packers would be playing with Majkowski, Brunell and Hasselbeck probably.

I dare say the pack wouldve had a shot @ the superbowl in 96/97 w/ Brunell as their starting qb
