How about T-Jack instead? Here's me hoping he follows T-Buck :POriginally posted by RastakOriginally posted by BretskyOriginally posted by RastakI thought Rodgers looked good today. Packers starting defense was solid as hell. Hate me all you want but Rodgers looked like Tarvaris Jackson at least in game one.
As long as Rodgers doesn't look like Tavarius Jackson once the season starts

At least I spelled your guys name right! The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

yes, he's terrible and he can't go a few minutes without bringing our ex QB up
I have a greater distaste for him than Theisman and Dennis Miller combinedTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I kinda like Brohm's delivery better that Rodgers. Better placement.Originally posted by boigaIf he can manage anything out of all of this I'll be impressed. 2:00 drills have not been his strong suit in practice.Originally posted by Lurker64Now we get to see Brohm run the 52 second drill.

I dunno, they can always pry some old guy off the couch if they need to. What week did Vinny show up to play last year?Originally posted by imscott72I don't think my post indicated me panicking. Are you comfortable with a 1st year guy as the #2 behind Arod? Common sense tells you they need a veteran backing him up until Brohm has some time under his belt.Originally posted by Guinessok, the coaching staff is concentrating on their new starter, it's this guy's first live NFL action, he's thrown the ball 6 times and you're panicking?Originally posted by imscott72I'd have to think we sign a veteran sometime before week 1. We can't leave it up to Brohm. He's clearly not ready. Is CulPepp still out there??--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

First half assessment:
Rodgers looked pretty good. His stats would've been better if Francies would have caught that pass and if Jones was another step ahead on the long bomb.
Jackson looks good. We might have a good 1-2 combo at RB.
Driver is his dependable self, but the other recivers need to step up a little. Was Jennings out there?

If Rodgers misses extensive time, are we going to the SB with Brohm? NO.Originally posted by Harlan Hucklebywhat in hades are you talking about?Originally posted by Chevelle2We aren't going far with Brohm or Vinny so why not let the kid gain experience?
If Rodgers misses extensive time, are we going to the SB with some Vet? NO.
So, it would benefit us to play Brohm, because at least he gets experience, something he wouldn't get if a washed up vet started.
