Would'nt the Bears need a quarterback to throw the ball to him first?

If that stops you from posting...i'll take the hit. So, we are both done. Excellent.

You know nothing about Phx, nothing about the cards, nothing about the stadium, nothing about the contract, etc.
Out of curiosity, what is the contract like? How much did the city pay for the Stadium (versus the team)? I know a couple who have purchased season tix and love the stadium and are following the team. They say there are a lot of people like them. I suppose it's possible that the Cards could move away, but it's hard to imagine that happening any time soon, and it's hard to imagine that they couldn't get a new team in there, or lure another team out there. I do recall a few seasons back (2003) that the Packers had filled about 1/3 of the stadium - but I think that was the Sun Devils stadium, right. Also, with Denny Green, you had a famine zone of about 3 miles radius to deal with. Minus Green, things should be looking up.
The cards put in like 150 mill out of whatever the total cost was...can't remember, but early it was like 350..prollly more.

However, Cards get basically all of that back for the naming rights with UofP paid 150 mill over 20 years.

The cards of course get rev from luxury boxes, psls, etc.

To call Phx a retirement village is ridiculous. Currently support all major sports and minor leagues as well. the pop growth has been over 25% every year since 00. That ain't from old people. The metro area is over 4 mill..that includes of course, mesa, scottsdale, chandler, glendale, etc.

The fact the stadium is in Glendale speaks volumes..as that is on the west side...the undeveloped side that is growing like crazy. Also located there is the Ice Den..home of the coyotes. I went to a preseason Broncos game..took me an hour to get there..freeways were jammed. Luckily lite rail will eventually land there.

Sun Devil: I went to that game..and others. Completely different..my back ached from the bench seating. Yes, fan support was a bit low as to the losing.

The fervor for the cards to do well is high..the town aches for a winning team..but, until they do..it is a sun's town.

The key to this whole article is that they over paid one player and others started grumbling. This is why you don't get carried away thinking one guy can change a team....its a TEAM and they all need to be happy.

Really the issue is about Q. He claims that they promised to renogiate. Q has only been positive about Fitz getting his.

Q has been a stand up guy and team leader. I've heard him on local talk radio..and i tend to believe him over the uber cheapskate Bidwell family.

Bidwells..have routinely been under the salary cap, didn't pay coaches the going rate, etc.

It was huge news when they hired whisenhunt and grimm and actually paid assistant coaches good money.

It was just as impressive moving Denny Green out - physically difficult, considering NASA has designated him a 'non-planetary gravitational anomaly'

                An even bigger question emerges:

How does Grady "Gravy-Train" Jackson get around then?
Snake's Twitter comments would be LEGENDARY.........if I was ugly or gave a shit about Twitter.

Haven't seen Gravy lately. I suspect he has developed an event horizon and light can no longer escape his gravity well.

I just hope he doesn't end up on some beach somewhere with a bunch of TNT crazy college grads trying to blow him up to clear the beach.
