Indeed. The Packers are actually older than the NFL. They played in some other league for a couple of years. The 1922 date is when the Packers were re-admitted into the NFL. The Packs first NFL season was 1921. They were tossed out at the end of the '21 season after George Halas of the Bears ratted 'em out for using College players in league games. Halas squealed because he was doing the same thing.
Curly borrowed money from friend, applied for reinstatement and the league let 'em back in. If they wanna say '22 is the start, that's fine. There were a lot "starts" to the Green Bay Packers.Comment
