  • Bears 1st team D get slapped around a bit

Caught the end of the SF-Bears game, and Pamela Oliver was interviewing Urlacher. He said the defense played like shit. That may not be verbatim, but was close, he actually said shit, and that SF scored about 20 points on the 1st team D.

    BTW O'Sullivan went 7/8, Smith went 6 for 17!

I'd have to see it to believe it. After watching the Seattle/Bears preseason game, I would be willing to bet the offense hung the defense out to dry. Bears offense is atrocious.

I watched most of this game (I kept going back to the Olympics at times) and the 9ers had no problem running roughshod over the bare's D. It pleased me to no end to see the pandas get beat even if it is only the pre-season.

Starting D allowed 27 points. 14 to the backups of the 49ers. JTO was look like Montana back there completing 7 out of 8 for 127 yard and a TD.

saw highlights. Bears D was pretty awful. Orton actually made some throws though....

I know it's early. but the Niners might actually be good this year.

            That's bad.

            I still hate 'em.
