The weird thing is that I was never impressed by his arm strength. If its even in Favre's neighborhood, I wonder what I was missing?

Arod has very good arm strength.. but it don't mean its harder than Favre's haha... Favre just learned over the years that he didn't have to throw in a million miles an hour to get a completion.. if he took a little off, he had better accuracy... I hope Arod follows this pattern soon
I think its cuz he still holds the ball goofy.. kinda like a college QB where as Favre was wild with the ball in his motions.. Arods is just more compact.. which is better? I have no idea, but it seems they both work haha
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh. John Maxymuk, Packers By The Numbers

Also, Rodgers is in a lot better shape now than he was a couple of years ago. After all, M3 wasn't impressed by his arm strength back with SF either.
I just don't remember the pop he seems to have. Might just be decisiveness.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
Looks like the Packers are playing prevent defense. Why play back?

Grooming a QB helps.
Lee really needed to catch that one.
I think you're very right here.. I mean he did have 3 seasons of working out, and busting his ass during practice to get prepared for this.. he should be in the best shape of his life right now.. which may be a reason for the growth in arm strength... my only concern is I still haven't seen anything downfield yet... but maybe it'l come
I hate the Packers' defensive scheme...that "shell" thing as KY calls it. The LB's play way too far off the ball. On most plays if we don't get any DL push, it's a sure 5-7 yard gain.
