    Not good for the offense.

Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

The plus side isn't that it wasn't more serious. Outside chance he's back for week 1, but he should be back within a few weeks.

Impossible to guess how long he'll be out. I just hope this isn't something that lingers for him all year.

I guess Mr. Nelson will have more opportunity to prove his worth. Let's hope he is up to the task.

Unfortunate, but he should be good as new not too far into the season. If it has to happen, the position where you are strongest is the best place.

As was said, Martin and Nelson, along with maybe Smith or Swain get an opportunity with this.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Translating the article - sprain, no surg required, trying to get ready for MN. = slightly torn meniscus, will heal fine on it's own; will miss maximum of 3-6 weeks; typically a lineman will return 1-2 weeks, skill positions a little longer. Probably iffy for week 1, but OK after.

This is a valid point, Harvey. If he had torn his ACL, his season would be over.
All the Packer nation needs to be grateful the injury was not more serious.
