well, they all have to get down to 53 guys by 5 pm central tomorrow

so i figure we'll know in the next 24 hours

and all these teams that are making cuts already still have to make a lot more to get down to 53. my guess is the easy cuts have already been made. in the next day we'll see some decent players get released

Didn't OPF like this guy? I think somebody talked about what a mistake it was for us not to draft this guy.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Yeah. I think he played at Oregon. Man, if you can't make that Bears roster as a wideout, you might be in the wrong line of work.

                That would be foolish.

Could be...or just another sign of Bear management incompetence.

Nobody gives up on a highly picked QB after one pre-season. Young QB's never look good early on. Brohm has done exactly what most first year QB's do in their first action.....look terrible. His play is hardly shocking, in fact I would have been surprised if he had lit it up.
                      GO PACK!!!!

Yeah, I liked him a lot. He had a terrific career at Oregon State and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award his senior year. A former walk-on, he was a dependable, go-to, type of receiver for the Beavers.

If I remember correctly, the Bears took him in the 5th or 6th round.

The bottom line is that he lacked the size and speed to make it in the NFL.

Think he and Poppinga can co-exist on the same roster?
