Chris Simms was cut by Tampa.

          SIGN HIM NOW.

Although, he is a UFA and will probably elect to sign with somebody who's QB situation is more up in the air (Chicago)

Cowboys also cut DE Marcus Dixon, who has a near tragic history with the law and a 15 year old girl. Read more here.

I think Baltimore is a more likely destination since they basically have no one..

Harrington might be worth looking at. He is familiar with the varying types of "West Coast" offense.

A former 1st round pick, Harrington has been cursed by being with lousy NFL teams--Detroit, Miami, and Atlanta. He might be "adequate" with a solid team like the Packers.
                  Your homerism is showing.

Harrington did have all the talent in the world coming out of college, he's just been put in really bad situations and he didn't do well in them. Personally, I think he's beyond repair, but there is a certain sense of "what could have been", if he was groomed properly.

For the most part i agree with you. My point was that if he wasn't from oregon...opf wouldn't even be talking about him.

At this stage...he is a 30 year old average at best QB. I would rather take a shot on grooming someone like simms or carr (not that he is available).

Are you high? They have a high prospect in Flacco, another qb that they have groomed in Smith..and Boller.

The Bears want him... to play behind Orton and Grossman?

There's damnation with faint praise if I've ever seen it.
