Chris Simms was cut by Tampa.
SIGN HIM NOW.
Although, he is a UFA and will probably elect to sign with somebody who's QB situation is more up in the air (Chicago)"I've got one word for you- Dallas, Texas, Super Bowl"- Jermichael Finley

Cowboys also cut DE Marcus Dixon, who has a near tragic history with the law and a 15 year old girl. Read more here.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think Baltimore is a more likely destination since they basically have no one..Originally posted by BallHawkChris Simms was cut by Tampa.

Your homerism is showing.Originally posted by oregonpackfanHarrington might be worth looking at. He is familiar with the varying types of "West Coast" offense.Originally posted by Maxie the TaxiThere's that vet quarterback some of us want the Pack to pickup.Originally posted by motifeQB Joey Harrington, TE Marcus Pollard by Falcons
A former 1st round pick, Harrington has been cursed by being with lousy NFL teams--Detroit, Miami, and Atlanta. He might be "adequate" with a solid team like the Packers.

Harrington did have all the talent in the world coming out of college, he's just been put in really bad situations and he didn't do well in them. Personally, I think he's beyond repair, but there is a certain sense of "what could have been", if he was groomed properly.Originally posted by Tyrone BiggunsYour homerism is showing.

For the most part i agree with you. My point was that if he wasn't from oregon...opf wouldn't even be talking about him.Originally posted by Lurker64Harrington did have all the talent in the world coming out of college, he's just been put in really bad situations and he didn't do well in them. At this stage...he is a 30 year old average at best QB. I would rather take a shot on grooming someone like simms or carr (not that he is available).

Are you high? They have a high prospect in Flacco, another qb that they have groomed in Smith..and Boller.Originally posted by imscott72I think Baltimore is a more likely destination since they basically have no one..Originally posted by BallHawkChris Simms was cut by Tampa.
