Okay, this may be a weird way of thinking of it, but...wouldn't it ease some pressure on Rodgers if Favre does NOT have a brilliant couple of games out of the gate? I'd also think it was kinda funny if Chad Pennington put up big numbers against the team that let him go.

They are as good as the Jets

Better than the Jets by at least two games I'd say. But with New England out of the picture, the Jets have a shot at the Wild Card that Buffalo otherwise would have gotten. The Jets don't impress me, but the Bills sure did yesterday. They stomped a team that was far superior to the team that the Jets barely squeaked by.

I was going to put Seattle on my worst teams of the year list, except that I couldn't see Holmgren letting a team slip really far. I think Seattle will be about 8-8 this year, but that may be optimistic. I think teams are going to be able to run on them all year - and their talent at the skill positions on offense has dropped off. Their saving grace is that they get to play the Rams and 49ers twice each and even AZ may not be all that good.

I consider my dad to be a pretty rockin (boring, balanced, level, intelligent, supremely educated, the opposite of me) dude. He's 52 and just married a super babe of a 51 year old who he dated for what seems like the last 40 years.

He probably would think M is a babe... you two farts would probably enjoy watching the game together. I swear too much (during stressful games) for my old man to wanna watch the game with me ... I always gotta watch my mouth or risk getting my grammar corrected all day.
