I saw some stuff saying that the Vikings left in a hurry, w/o interviews or anything. Anyone hear about that?

Re: Vikings left in a hurry?
I've seen quotes from several Viking players, so I doubt this is the case.Originally posted by GuinessI saw some stuff saying that the Vikings left in a hurry, w/o interviews or anything. Bedard I think narrowed it down to Zygi Wolf and his people leaving in a huff, not the coaches or players.
I sent him an email earlier today asking for the full poop sheet.
They say you're not supposed to go away mad, just go away.
One of my favorite Packer moments was in 97 or 98 when the Cowboys FINALLY came to Lambeau and the Packers beat them 45-7 or something like that. At the end of the game, the loudspeakers played...
"Hit the road jack... and don't you come back no more no more. Hit the road jack and don't you come back no more.."more freedom, less government. Go Sarah!

Maybe this is what this was all about.
After the game, McCarthy and Vikings coach Brad Childress did not meet at midfield for the traditional handshake.
Television replays showed McCarthy coming out near midfield looking around for Childress, but the two never connected...
But McCarthy said he exchanged phone calls with Childress on Tuesday and held no animosity toward the Vikings coach."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great.
