The Onside Kick Play

I don't know. Maybe my old eyes were deceiving me, but I thought I saw something that neither the broadcasters nor anybody here commented on.

When the kick went right through Atari Bigby's arms and an instant later was fortuitously bouncing about 5 yards away--out of bounds, I thought I saw our hot shot former soccer player get a foot on it. SOMEHOW that ball skipped sideward awful fast. Did anybody else see something like that, or is my imagination too active?

If he did kick it, it would be a penalty, right? 15 yards, I think. Still a smart play, though.

Interesting... I have the game on DVR so maybe tomorrow I'll fast forward and take a look. I'm curious about this now.

No, it didn't touch his foot. You can clearly see on ESPN's super slo mo that it just missed and even if it did thats not a penalty becuase it wouldn't have been intentional.
