Favre finished at OTAs
Green Bay -- Quarterback Brett Favre took part in his final workout Tuesday as the Green Bay Packers near the end of a voluntary four-week, 14-practice schedule.
Favre is expected to leave town later today. Backup Aaron Rodgers will take the reins with the No. 1 offense Wednesday on Clarke Hinkle Field in the Packers' final off-season practice.
"I thought he had three throws there in a row (in 7-on-7 drills) where the ball was really starting to spit off his fingers. That's about right," coach Mike McCarthy said. "We did a pitch count on him the whole time he was here, we kept him under 100 throws a week and feel really good about the amount of work he got done this past month."
Meanwhile, rookie third-rounder Jason Spitz ran with the No. 1 offense at center. He replaced starter Scott Wells, who was missing for personal reasons, and second-stringer Chris White, who remains out with a shoulder injury.
Also, barring an unexpected turn of events, cornerback Charles Woodson won't be in attendance on Wednesday. McCarthy had indicated last week there was a possibility he might show up but so far there's been no sign of him in Green Bay.
Disgruntled cornerback Al Harris is the only other player who didn't take part in any of the Packers' latest round of voluntary workouts.
