  • History Question For Those Who Are Up To The Task..

My buddies got a GF that has a official Packers practice jersey from the 1970's and it is #10.

Anyone got the answer to who that is?

If memory serves it's either Frank Patrick, Jack Concannon or Lynn Dickey.

Wasn't Dickey #12? You can go to packers.com to find out.

I take it back. You can't find players by jersey numbers on packers.com (at least, I couldn't).

I think Dickey gave up #10 in deference to Jan Stenerud.

1980 #10 was worn by Bill Troup

I do seem to recall that Dickey wore #10 for a time, but can't recall when he changed numbers from #10 to #12, but I know he wore #10 for a time.

I gave you a definite answer: if it's from the 70s it's definitey one of the three I mentioned.

Nah, my list was from packers.com, I think I found what Harv was looking for under the Record Book section. I was complimenting hoosier on his neurons.

Thanks, but regrattably my memory is no less virtual than the one you found. My memory is also known as Google Books, where you'll find a book by a guy named John Maxymuk (what a name!) called Packers by the Numbers. http://books.google.com/books?id=m9o...cKL2WGk-i3WTYA
