Minnesota has Carolina coming up week 3, @Tennessee week 4 and @ New Orleans week 5. There's a good chance they go 1-2 in that stretch. Coach Major Dad could be out by the bye week.Originally posted by 3irty1This is museum quality stupidity.

I don't think any (competently run) NFL team will fire a coach midstream. I mean, the Raiders will, but the Vikes won't.Originally posted by ZoolMinnesota has Carolina coming up week 3, @Tennessee week 4 and @ New Orleans week 5. A more likely scenario if the Vikings are 1-4 or 0-5 then Jackson gets hurt and they tear off 6-8 wins down the stretch to be within striking distance of the wildcard late in the season.</delurk>

Great thread; with their D playing better the Bears are a threatTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I think Gus will take them about as far as Tarvaris this season. No where. Gus is Bollinger, just 10 years older.Originally posted by Lurker64I don't think any (competently run) NFL team will fire a coach midstream. The Bears are a threat, but in recent memory injuries to guys who are old or have shown themselves to be injury prone are their achilles heel. We'll see how they do down the stretch. If they can stay healthy, they're definitely a threat, but almost nobody in the NFL stays healthy all season.Originally posted by BretskyGreat thread; with their D playing better the Bears are a threat</delurk>

The Vikings are 0-2 and the Pack is 2-0. That's one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is, the Vikings just lost two games that the Packers could easily lose too. The Vikings will beat Det at Det too, and if they beat GB at home while GB loses to Indy, then everything is a wash.
Not trying to be a wet blanket, the Packers are off to a better start then I was expecting. Just a reminder not to get too hyped up--or too down--two games into the season. The NYG are a perfect example of how things can start out crappy and then turn around.

And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. The game's about who does win, not who might win.Originally posted by hoosierThe Vikings are 0-2 and the Pack is 2-0. That's one way to look at it.
