Injury Updated : Grant , Woodson, Hall + more

McCarthy speaks
Coach Mike McCarthy is to address the media shortly. I'll have the most newsworthy items here.

* FB Korey Hall has a knee sprain. He has a lot of swelling but will be given until Friday to determine whether he can play on Sunday against Dallas. John Kuhn played well in his place.

* S Atari Bigby has a hamstring strain and he'll also be re-evaluated on Friday. Aaron Rouse made some obvious mistakes in Bigby's absence.

* There's no reason to think CB Charles Woodson (toe) won't play against Dallas.

* Sitting RB Ryan Grant (hamstring) for a game or two to let his injury heal would be a medical decision. Team doctor Patrick McKenzie said Grant came out of Sunday's game fine. "If we need to sit him down, we'll sit him down."

* He's hopeful C Scott Wells (back) and G Josh Sitton (knee) will practice this week -- Wells on Wednesday, and Sitton is "close."

* Allen Barbre graded out "fine" in limited snaps at left guard.

* The Cowboys "are as good as advertised." He'll watch their game against Philadelphia tonight.

He also mentioned that Rouse was partly at fault for the two big Calvin Johnson plays when he came in in the second half.

I sure hope Bigby's okay by sunday night. We're going to need his presence there over the top.
