remember when giants beat cowboys in the playoffs last year? cowboys had so many long drives the offense was gassed and couldn't convert anything in the late second half...thats about all we have going for us today

Hmm....Giants scored TDs in first half to even it up. It was 14-14 at half time.

If the Pcakers do not start playing better I will leave this game aknowledging Dallas is on a different level. They are just beating us down. It's not luck. It's not good calls. It's domination that the score does not give justice to.

I disagree....our WEAKEST link is our run defense.

i say forget the running game. Score points on offense. continue to stop Dallas from getting big plays on offense. The packers won't win a low scoring game.

It'll all depend on the 2nd half corrections, and if Al comes back in. I trust our coaches to right the ship and win the game.

The main problem we have on Offense is that we haven't gotten a rhythm started yet. Rodgers main problem is that he depends on momentum to move the ball. If he can get things started, we'll roll down the field. But we are having FAR too many 3 and outs.

The way to avoid your D getting tired is not to bomb away. Its to gain first downs. There is nothing horrible about the running game. its about converting 3rd down when there is pressure.

9 runs for 36 yards. 4 yards per carry. We need first downs, not to stop running the football.

the problem is that the Cowboys are bigger and better on both offensive and defensive lines. they will win a grind-it-out ball control game.

Good notes:

-Rodgers has been stellar in the face of pressure.
-Hawk and Collins deserve a lot of credit for the Cowboys low score right now.
-TO has been bottled.


Bad Notes:
-They are sniffing out our running plays too easily.
-Rouse has been weak against the run.
-Wood is being asked to do too much.
-Run defense needs to improve.

Running and stopping the run; that's what it's all about.

D needs to stop Dallas or this is getting crazy...Jennings will catch 10-12 balls today. If not, DD will get open.

Nope. There are ways to stop the run. Offenses take pictures before the snap and jsut as the play starts. Our guys are playing not to get beat. They could be filling hard, instead they are respecing the Dallas passing game. Dallas is taking what we are giving.

They're doing the right thing. The alternative is to be down by 21 right now.

The problem is our offense hasn't moved the ball or gotten in the endzone.

You're right! It'll be very difficult to accomplish today.

The difference in this game is one long run and our inability to convert enough 3rd downs and get 1st downs. Close enough to win.
