I don't see the second place team in the NFC North getting the Wild Card, so hopefully we win the division.

8-8 or 9-7 as you said isn't gonna get us a #2 seed or even have us on that list period.

To be fair, 9-7 might win the division when looking at the schedules. I suspect one team will go like 5-1 or 6-0 against the division, and that might be enough to catipult that team. Indy's struggling right now, but they'll get healthy. Jacksonville is a good team. Tennesse also. In the NFC South, Tampa Bay, Carolina, and New Orleans are all solid teams--and Atlanta isn't a pushover anymore. Throw in an NFC East team and Seattle/Arizona, and it's not a easy schedule for Green Bay or Minnesota.

I'm not editorializing, It is the actual standings of the teams even if it is based on a limited set of games.

In the AFC the current playoff position teams are:
                1) Bills
                2) Broncos
                3) Titans
                4) Ravens
                Wild Cards
                5) Steelers
                6) Patriots

Beyond that it will depend on the outcome of the Monday Night game.

For those interested the Kansas City Chiefs are in sole possesion of first place in the race for the #1 overall draft pick.
