I do NOT understand what all the learning is that supposedly is needed for man coverage.

You get out there on an island; You use your athleticism to stay with the receiver. Whether you are in PeeWee football, high school, college, or the NFL, there isn't that much difference--ESPECIALLY for a team like the Packers that emphasizes man coverage. If you're going to a zone for a play, yank Lee and put in Bush.

Assuming it turns out to be true about Harris being done, I still don't expect to see too much of Lee as long as Woodson, Williams, and Blackmon stay healthy.

The problem is Lee isn't a finished product in man or zone.

In man, he still makes mistakes in his pre-snap technique, let alone cover. In zone, he doesn't understand where his help is coming from or where to give help.

All that aside, he's a good kid. A raw, young corner with all the physical skills, starting his apprenticeship. TW starts, Blackmon & Bush go to the nickel & Dime. Lee backs up at nickel and dime.

The cover issues in man for Lee is... he has to learn to get his pre-snap technique right, deliver the blow, and get in that sumbitches hip and run with him. Sound simple, but these guys are strong and can run like deer. It's far different than anything you see in Pee Wee, high school or even college. Lee screws up in some of the basics. He'll net a lot more time in cover than he ever would have before Harris got hurt. I hope it works out.

a lot of people bash TT letting favre go, but i think losing out on dendy was his biggest mistake no doubt

As long as Lee doesn't need fucking boxing gloves on in practice its better than what we've had in the not so distant past.

I think Twill will do a good job. I have zero confidnece in Blackmon, Lee and Bush.

It's pretty damn clear you have no confidence in "bush".
