Don't blow a gasket, its just a joke. From the internet postings and call-in radio yesterday, its obvious that the Ultimate Favre Fans are going to get excited every time the Packers lose, and claim that this is just the sort of game where the Packers would have won with Favre at the helm. We saw some of this in packerrats.
I think we should be ready to laugh.
Sunday was just the type of game where Favre would have tried to force things in the 3rd/4th quarters, would have ended up with 3-4 picks, and we'd be sitting in here scratching our heads over how he could make such a boneheaded throw.
Pacopete would blame the receivers for running the wrong routes, Woody would blame MM for the playcalling, and Merlin would blame TT for assembling such a shitty team.
weird thing is we would have got embarrassed at home with both styles of play from the qb... our team just is not that good.. it will show the difference b/t brett and arod by seasons end
Funny how two weeks of outstanding QB play by Rodgers and one average game brings out the same old bullshit. The last three weeks have done nothing but increase my faith in Rodgers as this teams QB. Nothing that happened on Sunday changed that. I was and am a Favre fan, I hope he succeeds, but I'm really happy with the Packers decision.
Have you bought an aisle ticket for he and his lesbian friend yet?
Not good enough, I tried for a skybox but they would not accept my car as collateral. This will be the 2nd year in a row I failed to bring a big name celebrity to the get together.
i'm doing some reverse-trouble making. It's OK, I didn't sign the pledge. :P
I didn't sign it either. It would have prevented me from exercising my first amendment right to be an asshole. You can look it up. I know some of you will say, I did look it up and thats not true." That's because you looked it up in a book. Next time look it up in your gut. I did. My gut tells me that's what the first amendment says.

Can you bring MJ from Superman ?
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
My itchy trigger finger syndrome has been acting up today.
So Harlot, are you going to the posters get together? I sure would like to get to meet the great man behind the curtain.
Do you want me to come? I've been happy with my new policy of deleting your PMs without reading them, but I suppose there is the outside chance that I've missed-out on some tender words.
My health is better, I'm down from 2 crutches to 1, but I'd still require an aisle seat (plus one for a lesbian escort.) So I doubt I'll go to the game, but maybe I'll drive up to meet the public.

I gotta agree with and it sums up why I didn't sign it either.
Re: Would the Jets have been better off with Rodgers?

I think last night's game was just the sort of game where the Jets could have used a QB like Aaron Rodgers. Favre threw the game away with two interceptions, and several near pickoffs. In a tight game like that, its seems like a more mobile and sure-handed QB like Rodgers could be more effective.
Your thoughts?
Threw the game away you say?
lets see - put 29 points on the board, would of been 30+ if no 2 pointers were tried.
How many points did AR put on the board? hmm?
Besides, neither int was blaringly favre's fault. One was a guy doing a out in a one on one situation,a nd cromartie came over the top and scooped it in the air with one hand and grabbed it while laying on the reciver's back. That is favre's fault how?
Then, the other. No one knows who is to blame, cept the WR and the QB. It was a coverage read play, and favre threw it to the outside and deep, the wr came short and to the inside. It was a communication error. Of course, the media will side with favre was right, but the truth is no one knows. Fact remains, the guy who picked that ball off would not have if the WR would of went to where apparently favre thought he was going.
Anyways, thats niether here nor there. So, last night's game was a perfect example where the jets could of used AR huh? Really? No turnovers, but no TD's? Against the chargers? You think your going to beat the chargers WITHOUT putting points on the board? Wow.
obviously 2 more bad routes run in bretts storied career. Yep, brett and picks and dems and poverty stricken cities...2 things that go hand in hand but are not tied by any relevance except quirckieness.

Favre still has a good arm, as evidenced by a couple of strikes he threw going backward off his back foot. But, he has become a potted plant. I've seen all three games, and I don't think he's avoided more than 2 sacks. The last few years, as his mobility has declined, he has been able to fake out defenders with good pass fakes. That isn't working anymore. Dallas would probably have sacked him 15 times.
Personally I love both QB's and have been equally impressed with Arod's progress and the work in progress with Brett the Jet (has he even been there a month yet)?? To imply Arod would jump into a brand new system and do better is horse shit, yet I don't want to stoke the pot because it seems your pot has been boiling over for a bit too long as of late HH. Pretty soon someone will take away your spatula, you would think......
