It's a tough situation, and I feel bad for Joey..

Here's a young kid that came into a very tough situation (high draft pick, the good looks, lots of credentials) and was in a can't win spot..

I surely don't see the Pack picking him up in 2011, but I have to wish him good luck..

I always hate to see guys like that. They come into the NFL on top of the world and just never pan out. Guys like Harrington, Grossman to an extent (he did lead the Bears to a Superbowl), and Alex Smith. Not Leinart, he just sucks. For whatever reason, be it they are on a crappy team (Lions) or their team gets a new offensive coordinator every year he plays they can't grasp the speed of the game quick enough.

I used to think just toss the QB into the fire and let him learn. Peyton was able to do it pretty well, wasn't he? But after seeing Rodgers get much better sitting (yeah it was Favre but still) I think it is much better to let them sit for a while and learn. I think that Matt Leinart could see improvement by sitting and learning from Warner ala Rodgers.

In my life, I'm surrounded by Bear fans, but WTF, let's be real, the D and Hester led the Bears to greatness. Grossman will be out of the NFL in 2 years. I prayed, just FUCKING prayed we didn't pick him a few years ago. Immature punk with a weak arm. We don't need those punks unless they get drafted by division rivals. All my Bear buddies FINALLY can acknowledge Grossman sucks.My boss (a HUGE bears fan bet me $50 last year Grossman would end up with a better 2007 QB rating then Favre...yeah that went well).

I suspect his pro career is over. He will probably do well in his post-NFL career. Joey's from a solid family here in Portland. If he does not pursue a career in music(he is an accomplished jazz pianist), he will probably be successful in some endeavor. Harrington possesses many positive character traits.

I think Joey would make a helluva interior decorator.

That's not exactly what I meant. I meant that yeah he isn't a good QB but he is different from the others who just flat out failed in that he was able to be on a Superbowl team as the starting QB. I know he isn't good and that's what I'm getting at.

But Joey is a savior. Tank said it so it has to be true. He probably is crying in front of his Harrington posters in his mothers basment right now.
