  • Official Packers vs. Bucs Game Thread

My turn. As some of you may know, I have an excellent record at starting game threads in the Brewer forum.

The only way we lose this game is if we beat ourselves and make mistakes. We're a better team than the Bucs, plan and simple.

If Griese has to throw 67 passes like last week, we win by 20.

On a lighter note, I found this quite humorous.

Items Prohibited in Raymond James Stadium
Cameras with lenses longer than 12"
      Chucky dolls
      Thunder sticks
      Footballs

My biggest worry at this point is the health of our team. We're thin at receiver with Jones out. Ruvell coming back should help our red zone offense, but it'd be nice having all 5 guys on the field at the same time. Also, we're sore at safety. Collins and Rouse are both still gimpy and having Peprah and Bush back there doesn't really inspire confidence.

If we come out of this game healthier than we go in, we should win. Tramon will be under pressure, but he can get the job done if he plays smart and confidently. I expect the O and D lines to have big games to makeup for dropping the ball last week. If Rodgers has protection and Grant can get a window, the offense will roll.

We should win... which always makes me nervous. Prove you can get the job done, Packers.

If you've read the Brewers threads...........you know............

it's already time to start blaming BH for dooming this team to a loss
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Should be a very interesting day in the NFL!

The Vikes and the Packers have road games against two tough defenses. I think the Vikes have a little tougher game, but not by too much.

Vikings get Sidney Rice back and Peterson seems to be healthy after tweaking his hammy a couple weeks ago. Ryan Grant is back as is Wells. Packers secondary is banged up to say the least but the Vikings are pretty healthy on the defensive side of the ball.

My picks based on all this?

Vikes over Tennesee in a very close game.
Bucs over the Pack in a higher scoring game. I would normally take Green bay in this game but if they don't find a strong pass rush I think they may be in some trouble.

It's currently 76 in Tampa with overcast skies & 63% humidity. Per some local news station site in Tampa. That isn't too terribly bad. It's not like WI never gets humid

I was watching the ESPN pre-game show and they had a little tidbit about Ryan Grant.

They said coaches would yell at him during long runs in games to 'slow donw' because of his hamstring.

But they said he is now healthy and will be at full speed all the time.

So lets unleash some Ryan Grant this week on the Bucs.
I am better looking than you.

Aaron needs some more facial hair. He's kinda goofy looking without it.
